Why We Support Cribs Foundation
Cribs Foundation provides a safe, loving home and essential support for children in need of special protection. They care for abandoned infants and help female survivors of sexual abuse heal and recover.
Remote Raven is proud to partner with Cribs because we were built on opportunity and purpose. Helping people, especially youth and families in under-resourced communities, gain access to education, resources, and better futures is part of our DNA and aligns with the values we apply to remote hiring every day.
ABOUT CRIBS FOUNDATION
THE MISSION
Cribs is committed to the care, development, healing, and recovery of children needing special protection, envisioning a safe and loving home environment for every child, free from violence or abuse. They also aim to empower staff, donors, and volunteers.
THE HISTORY
The initiative began in 1974 when American missionary wives started caring for children from DSWD. CRIBS was incorporated as a non-profit NGO in 1979, launching the Receiving Home program. Licensed by DSWD in 1983, CRIBS launched the New Beginnings program for sexually abused girls in 1986. Clare de Graaf significantly contributed in 1988 by purchasing a residence with support from Bethany’s Christian Services and Ms. Teresa Chan Sola. The foundation moved to a purpose-built facility in Antipolo in 2018.

Core Programs
Receiving Home: Provides an alternative home environment and holistic care for up to 30 abandoned, surrendered, or neglected children and foundlings aged 0-4 at any time.
New Beginnings: Offers a safe, nurturing home for female survivors of sexual abuse aged 7-17. Provides healing and recovery programs including medical/dental care, psycho-social support, education, legal aid, and more, aiming for reintegration or independent living.
